IMPACTHOPE works through Project Coordinator Ann Farquarson to serve the Fort Jacques community in two primary ways. First, by helping people improve their agricultural efforts, they increase the community’s ability to be self-sustaining. Second, they provide a school that offers education and hope to forty children from very poor families. Together, these efforts seek to bring a brighter economic future to the community and greater opportunities for its children. The local church plays a key role in this effort as the children continue to learn about Jesus and are taught to follow his ways.
